This is one of my all time favorites. Cask strength, so you know that it isn’t watered down, aged in old sherry barrels, and bursting with spice. This distillery is in the Speyside region, but the A’bunadh is a highland style scotch. It is strong and flavorful. Make sure to take a very small sip on your first go, otherwise you might end up in a coughing fit.
Complex in its flavors, and downright delicious. This scotch possesses one of the longest spiciest finishes I have ever tried. The flavor lingers for upwards of a minute after a good savoring mouthful. This is released in small batches, so each batch taste a little different, and has a slightly different alcohol content. All I can say is that batch 52 is amazing.
